The small resort town of Haapsalu, Estonia.

*WS17 - the small resort town of Haapsalu, Estonia*

Sight-seeing is not about glamour, or shopping. More about away from the routine, like hectic city life. We do enjoy spending a day at small towns with tranquility. We last introduced a small town in Morocco, Africa. Now we move to Europe to spend a day idling at the town of Haapsalu in West Estonia. A town of 10,000 people. We were there in 2011.

Haapsalu is a seaside resort famous for its warm seawater, mud pools and health spas. The farm houses are well kept and colourfully painted. Simple pleasing to look at. A resident keeping up his duty - painting his fence, 6th photo.

The only odd structure in the tranquil town is the remains of the Haapsalu Castle first constructed in the 1220s. Inside is the most elegant Lutheran church, obviously still in use.
