*WS43 – The Paris Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, USA*
Las Vegas is the premier casino and entertainment city in the United State. We were here in 2019 for a week and spent nearly 4 days looking at all the big hotels and casinos. And the most impressive in terms of structure and setting is the Paris Las Vegas.
Paris Las Vegas is a hotel and casino located on the Las Vegas Strip. It was opened in 1999. It is owned and operated by the Caesars Entertainment group. The towers are 33 storey high. It has 2,916 rooms and the casino space is 8,850 sq m.
The theme of the setting is the city of Paris, France; it includes a half scale, 165 m tall replica of the Eiffel Tower, a sign in the shape of the Montgolfier balloon, a two-thirds size of the Arc de Triomphe, a front façade in the design of the Paris Opera House, etc.
The main shopping area within the complex is called Le Boulevard, last 2 photos. With the brass lamps to the cobblestone walkways to the small boutiques, Le Boulevard brings the spirit of Paris to Las Vegas. The ceilings, 12 m high, is painted like the sky. The back legs of its Eiffel Tower actually come down through the ceiling into the casino floor.
