WS 156B - *Iranian women*
I believe most of you have not been to Iran. Friends often ask, 'are the Shia women cover up from head to "tail"'? Not at all. Their tudong is quite similar to the Malaysian Sunnis. In fact more "loosely" worn even, especially the younger girls where the neck is exposed. But a simple head covering is a must for women, including foreigners and tourists. See our tour groups, all with the covering, "converted" from a scarf.
The 2nd last photo was taken at a park to meet up with the tour guides' big family and have tea. The last photo was taken at a tourist site, the Iranian family on a picnic. We were invited to share some cakes with them.
