*WS 86: refreshing walk along the waterfront in Vancouver, Canada*
Vancouver is a big city and port on the west coast of Canada. The 3 km long waterfront, most part of it "equipped" with designated pedestrian walkway, is a tourist attraction on its own merit. We were here in 2019.
Near the eastern end is the sail-shaped building, the Canada Place, housing the cruise ship terminal, hotels and convention centres. Nearby is the unique 20-m tall steel sculpture called "The Drop". Towards the sea side are the yachts and seaplanes. Dotting the walkway are shops, small parks and a heritage building. Near the western end is the Devonian Harbour Park, with tulips and others in bloom. The bushy green-yellow plant is the Albanian Spurge. And towards the land side are offices and high-end residences.
